The partner of a New Zealand resident is allowed to live in New Zealand and start a new enjoyable life. The resident should meet the requirements of an eligible sponsor. The sponsor must also provide the evidence of the immigration status in New Zealand.

The applicant must have at least NZ$ 1 million to invest for a period of four years. The applicant must have an annual income of NZ$ 60,000 and NZ$ 0.5 million for settlement purposes.

Permanent resident or citizen of New Zealand can apply for visa for his brother, sister or adult child. This type of visa application processing usually takes 18 to 24 month. The resident must fulfill the condition of eligible sponsorship.

The family persons on a temporary visit to their family member who is a permanent resident or a citizen of New Zealand can apply for a temporary visa under this category. The applicant can visit, work or study in New Zealand on temporary basis.
