New Zealand’s study visa options allows overseas student to study in well reputed educational institutions. New Zealand welcomes students at every academic level in various courses of short and long term duration. For a course which is of less than three month duration and is exempted by New Zealand Qualifications Authority student visa is not required. Such a courses can be done using a visitor visa.

People with working holiday scheme can undergo through different courses that do not exceed six month duration. If a student is of the age of 13 or under or is enrolled in years 1 to 8 of school is required to be accompanied by a guardian.

If a student has paid full fee of a given course he is allowed to stay for the period for which he has paid the fee, but the stay can not exceed more than 4 years. The student is allowed to work up to 20 hours in a week or he/she can work to meet the requirements of course for practical work experience.
